Model 3 insurance factors
Trim and performance matter on Model 3.
Model 3 has versions from RWD to Performance, so brokers look closely at the exact trim, vehicle value and driver profile. Three things matter most.
Version changes the risk
RWD, Long Range and Performance trims do not price the same. Higher output and higher vehicle value can push premiums up.
Repair cost matters
Glass, sensors, body panels and EV systems can be expensive after a claim. Brokers price this into comprehensive cover.
Driver profile still leads
Age, licence history and no-claim discount usually move the premium more than the badge alone.

Real brokers, real Hong Kong
Brokers who know HK like you do.
All licensed in Hong Kong. They've quoted thousands of EVs across the city. When they price your Model 3, they're pricing it against local claims data, local repair networks and local driving conditions, not generic insurance defaults.
- Licensed by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority.
- Familiar with Tesla repairs, glass, sensors and EV claims in HK.
- You can call any of them after they quote. We don't gate the conversation.

Free, no commitment
A quote, not a commitment.
- Free to request. We don't charge you, brokers do their own pricing.
- No signup. No login. Just enough info for brokers to quote.
- Email stays masked via Mice & Elephants until you pick a broker.
- Take a quote, ignore them all, or come back later. No commitment either way.
Common questions
Things people ask first.
What's the difference between comprehensive and third-party?
Third-party only covers damage you cause to others. Comprehensive covers your own car too: collision, theft, fire and vandalism. For a Model 3, comprehensive is what most owners and lenders pick.
What affects my premium the most?
Driver age, claim-free years (NCD), licence type, occupation and the trim's vehicle value. Performance and high-value trims can push premiums higher.
How long until brokers reply?
Most brokers respond within a working day. Urgent requests, where cover starts tomorrow, usually come back the same day.
What does masked email mean?
Brokers see a unique forwarding address from our Mice & Elephants relay, not your real email. If a broker is pushy, you can mute that address. They never see your real inbox unless you reply directly.
Can I switch broker after picking one?
Yes. The quote is from the broker, not from us. You're free to take it, negotiate, or go elsewhere. We're not paid by which broker you pick.
Is Electacar a licensed insurance broker?
No. We're not a licensed broker. We forward your details to licensed brokers in our partner network. Each broker issues their own quote and is responsible for their own advice.
