7 Things to Know Before Buying MG Cyberster in Hong Kong

   Build quality is a weak point. Visitors who inspected the car at the Hung Hom showroom and the ICC road show described the fit and finish as poor, with panel gaps and materials that do not match the price tag.

   HK pricing is roughly double the mainland China price. The same car sells for around RMB 300,000 across the border. At HK$530,000 for the RWD version and closer to HK$1,000,000 for the AWD, the markup is hard to justify when the car competes with established sports cars.

   The MG badge is a significant obstacle for HK buyers. The oversized logo on the front is a recurring complaint, with many feeling it undermines the car's sporty design. Brand perception in HK has not caught up with the car's ambitions.
